My name is Reem Turk, and I am a Palestinian from Gaza. I am a mother to two adorable boys, Hani and little Kenan. Sadly, I've had to raise them on my own after their father left when they were just children.
My family and I are facing incredibly tough times, and we urgently need your support. Like any mother, I have dreams for my children and myself, dreams of a better life and brighter future. However, the Israeli occupation has made it extremely difficult for us to even imagine achieving those dreams. In 2023, the situation escalated, and our home, along with our hopes and dreams, was destroyed by the occupation's actions.
Now, my children and I are left with nothing. We lack the basics of food, clothing, and shelter. My heart breaks seeing my kids suffer without the comforts they once had - their toys, their clothes, their home.

I am suffering from a lump on my liver, which is getting bigger and bigger. Its size is now over 8 cm, and I am monitoring my condition every 4 months. If it reaches 10 cm, it will explode, leading to severe bleeding and then death. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor my condition for possible surgical removal and further monitoring. However, due to the war in Gaza, there are no hospitals, medication, or medical follow-up available, which is worsening my condition.
